2.The information contained in EDDNAL is meant to assist physicians or other health professionals in accessing diagnostic testing. The information on this site is not oriented towards the general public. Health care providers are encouraged to consult a genetic specialist with any questions concerning the appropriateness and interpretation of genetic testing for diagnosis and management of the disorders affecting their patients. The information on the EDDNAL web-site is not intended to replace the advice or treatment provided by a physician to his or her patient.

3.The information presented on this site derives solely from its laboratory source. Because this information is provided voluntarily, this directory is not comprehensive. Other laboratories or clinics may exist which provide diagnostic testing for any specific disorder. The information provided by individual laboratories is not verified or warranted by EDDNAL. The directory relies on the listed laboratories to present a correct and accurate picture of the services they provide. While EDDNAL tries to provide as much information as possible on diagnostic services, EDDNAL does not endorse or warrant the work or services provided by a particular laboratory. Information for external quality control is provided at the discretion of the laboratory.

6.EDDNAL contains information solely concerning laboratories within the European Union (with the exception of Switzerland and Finland) except in the case of an international laboratory that provides diagnostic testing not currently available in Europe.
